The Island of Hvar Part 2

These are pictures taken from the waterfront at Hvar.  The water is very blue and clear.

A view of the Old Fort at the top of the mountain.  It is there to provide a safe harbor for the boats.

 The top of the pictures shows another view of the Old Fort.  You can also see the great wall around the city.

 This cannon was tucked away in the Great Wall.

 These are pictures taken as we are getting ready to walk up to the Old Fort.

These are the narrow streets.  Even though the people do not have much room, they seem to find room for flowers and plants.
