We have arrived! It was a long day with a lot of flight changes but we have all made it except Paula. We will be picking Paula up tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. She is in Paris. What an adventure!
Ante picked us up at the airport and gave us a chance to get cleaned up. We are staying at the Regent Esplanade in Zagreb. It is beautiful. Ante treated us to an authentic Croatian dinner. We dined at Vinodol. We had the meat platter, which featured all sorts of meats placed on top of potatoes and vegetables. The platter was huge! We could hardly make a dent in it. Ante said he was going to have to teach us to eat like Croatians. It was delicious! The restaurant was an old building that used to be a winery. It had beautiful arched brick ceilings. I took a picture of it to share with you. We are exhausted and so we'll continue this tomorrow.
